Following the success of Tom's Rachmaninoff Concerto Cycle with Sebastian Grand and the Guernsey Sinfonietta, he is undertaking another complete cycle with the Stockport Symphony Orchestra, which concludes in 2018. Plans for the 2018-2019 season and beyond include multiple performances of both Brahms piano concerti.

"Tom Hicks is an excellent pianist. He has won the RNCM Gold Medal Competition and was also one of the winners of the Concerto Competition with his performance of Brahms Piano Concerto No.1. The depth and maturity in the interpretation of this concerto was exceptional. I can highly recommend Tom."

Michelle Castelletti (Artistic Director, Royal Northern College of Music)
